  6. Then put in cardamom, coriander powder, turmeric powder, sugar and salt and fry till the spices are cooked well..
  7. Then put in 1 litre water and close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook till one whistle blows in the pressure cooker on low flame..
  8. After it gets cooked open the lid and pour in the ghee. And your namkeen chawal is ready to serve..
